InfoTech: Cambridge Names Michael K. Chung COO

Cambridge Information Group (CIG) has tapped Michael K. Chung as its chief operating officer, reporting to company president Andy Snyder. CIG said that Chung will “oversee the operations of several CIG companies and take responsibility for the strategic planning and budgeting processes for the businesses.” Chung will also be on the board of Navtech, Inc., which creates flight operations software and services for airlines. CIG is Navtech’s largest shareholder. Chung comes to Cambridge from his most recent post as COO of Barr Associates, Inc., the largest independent manufacturer of optical filters.
